MICHAEL JACKSON will be buried in the same make of solid bronze casket as JAMES BROWN, according to reports.
Batesville Casket Company bosses have received an order for a $25,000 custom casket, called The Promethean, for the late King of Pop, according to TMZ.com.
The 14-karat gold-plated casket comes with a dark blue velvet interior and a hand-polished, mirror finish.
New reports suggest Michael Jackson's remains will be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning (07Jul09) before a public memorial service at the Staples Center, where Jackson was rehearsing for his comeback This Is It shows before his death last week (25Jun09).
The cemetery has refused to comment about rumored burial plans.
