Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf will return to cinemas a year earlier than planned - the release of the second TRANSFORMERS sequel has been bumped up.Director Michael Bay has announced that a script for Transformers 3 is complete and Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf and their robot pals will be returning to the big screen sooner than fans had anticipated. In a post on his website, which features a countdown to the new release date, the director writes, "Well it's official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. SHIA LaBEOUF showed his generosity at a recent charity bash in Los Angeles when he wrote out a check for $10,000.The Transformers star was a big spender at the Riders for Health auction on 11 July (09) when he placed bids on items including a $3,000 hand-painted racing jacket and a $2,500 helmet. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the international non-profit, which provides health-care to rural African villages using motorcycles. MEGAN FOX and SHIA LaBEOUF have taken TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN to the top of the box office chart - scoring more than $200 million in its first week on release.Despite poor reviews, the sequel scored the second biggest single-day gross in box office history when it opened on Wednesday (24Jun09), taking in $60 million in just 24 hours - trailing The Dark Knight by just $7 million. SHIA LaBEOUF almost lost his sight during filming for the TRANSFORMERS sequel after impaling himself on a spike.Initial reports suggested the actor was injured during a controlled explosion on the set last summer (09), but the truth is far more grisly than the idea of the actor getting hit by shrapnel. Shia LaBeouf explains, "We were in the middle of some chaos and I mistimed something and impaled my face on a spike. I came up and I had a spike in my eye and I had blood coming down my face and it was the dark, dark purplish kind, which is actually a great thing.
