TAYLOR LAUTNER has been put off the idea of ever dating a fan after one encounter with a mother and daughter duo left him blushing with embarrassment.The 17-year-old actor has attracted a large fanbase after starring as werewolf Jacob in the vampire franchise, but he insists he's not interested in taking advantage of his adoring female fans because some are too forward for his liking. He tells America's Star magazine, "I was at a signing and this mum and her teenage daughter are walking up. And the mum's shaking, she's so excited. "They get to the front, and the mum goes, 'Taylor, I'm wearing panties that have your name on them. If I find a way to take them off and have you sign them, is that OK?' And the daughter goes, 'Mom, come on!' And the mum is like, 'Honey, it's OK, this is what we do at these signings.'"

But the young star admits he sometimes gets accosted by more mature female fans - and one in particular last weekend (08-09Aug09) had an alarming surprise for him. Taylor Lautner tells Fox news, "I had this 40-year-old woman trying to find a way to take her panties off for me to sign them. They had my name imprinted on them. So that was kind of strange, but you can’t expect anything from these Twilight fans."

TAYLOR LAUTNER, star of TWILIGHT, has a back-up career in mind if the movie offers stop coming in - he wants to direct.The 17 year old appeared in numerous TV shows before catapulting to fame in the hit 2008 vampire movie. He is reprising his role as Jacob Black in the two sequels New Moon and Eclipse, which are slated for release in November (09) and 2010 respectively. But Lautner has revealed he'd love to make the move behind the camera in the future - and become a director or screen writer. He tells Interview magazine, "I also loved writing and directing. I’d love to get into that. Right now I’m an actor. But I could see that in my future."

But now I think it would be good for me to date someone who's not in the business."

Nobody bothered them."   Gomez, 16, has previously been romantically linked to Jonas Brothers star Nick Jonas.

TWILIGHT star TAYLOR LAUTNER suffers from a condition that means he can never sit still - he's one of 12 million Americans battling restless leg syndrome. The complaint, officially known as Wittmaack-Ekbom's syndrome, means Lautner, 17, suffers the irresistible urge to move his legs.   He explains to Star magazine, "I can never stop bouncing my knee. People always tell me to stop, but I can't force it to stay still. If we're in the car, I'll end up shaking the whole car."
