Rapper BOW WOW has declared his love for the daughter of RUN-DMC star JOSEPH SIMMONS in a new magazine article. The 22-year-old hitmaker/actor, real name Shad Moss, has been romantically linked to Angela Simmons, 21, for the past year - and now he's going public with his adoration in the pages of Giant magazine.   He says, "Angela Simmons is the love of my life. She's a young black woman doing something incredible.   "She's a CEO of a company at 21 years old and a positive role model for kids."

MILEY CYRUS has been given a reminder of just how mean Hollywood can be to star kids - her little sister's self-esteem is hurting after she was rejected during a casting call. Nine-year-old Noah is currently auditioning for roles in a bid to get spotted and emulate her hugely successful sibling.   But Miley fears for her sister's sanity and self-esteem as she competes with others to find favor with star searchers.   The 16-year-old Hannah Montana star tells Starpulse.com, "There's this whole season, dedicated to making kids come in, wearing hair and make-up, and ready to be cast.   "My little sister is one of those girls that is working on a pilot season and she'll say, 'I don't think the casting director thought I was pretty'. To hear a nine year old say that is really heartbreaking. That's what I think the hardest part about living in L.A. is."

Actress VANESSA HUDGENS has a warning for any potential muggers and robbers - go near her and she'll blast you with her taser gun. The 20-year-old has just splashed out on a new Hollywood home and admits she feels vulnerable living on her own - so she's invested in a gun that will zap bad guys with a painful blast of electricity.   Hudgens tells Us Weekly magazine, "I keep a taser in my purse for self-defence. I'm moving into a house by myself and it's scary."

MILEY CYRUS has brushed aside BRITNEY SPEARS to become America's favourite teen idol, according to a new poll. The Hannah Montana actress has been voted the number one young star in an online survey conducted by PopEater.com, grabbing 32 per cent of the votes.   The Jonas Brothers came second with 27 per cent, while former idol Spears had to settle for third place.   A total of 57,000 people took the survey, which also saw country star Taylor Swift named the celebrity who has the best influence on young people, while The Backstreet Boys were voted the greatest teen idols of the 1990s.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL star ZAC EFRON makes a conscious effort to stay away from the Hollywood party scene - because he doesn't want to "fall victim" to temptation like other young stars. The actor reached the legal drinking age of 21 in October (08), but admits that although he does enjoy a little alcohol he is careful never to party to excess.   And Efron puts his mindful attitude down to his dedication to his career - because he knows it is easy for young actors to destroy their prospects if their lifestyle gets too wild.   He says, "There's a time for celebration and I partake, sure. But, you know, it's important not to let that become too big of a distraction. The more you have access to, the harder it is to remain focused.   "You know what, I do not want to fall victim to that, it's too easy and too often done.
