MILEY CYRUS has championed same sex marriage marriage - insisting Jesus loves everyone regardless of their sexual orientation. Blogger Perez Hilton reached out to top celebrities after attacking Miss California Carrie Prejean for her anti-gay marriage stance at the Miss USA pageant over the weekend.   Hilton, who was judging the beauty contest, asked the San Diego stunner for her thoughts on same sex marriage and was floored when Prejean revealed she believed marriage should be between a man and a woman.   The blogger has been blasting Miss California ever since, and now he has asked celebrities for their thoughts on the controversial issue.   Responding to him via her Twitter.com account, the Cyrus writes, "Jesus loves you AND your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! thats like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz hes gay and that is WRONG and very sad! like i said everyone deserves to be happy (sic)."   But some stars are taking...

The stars of HARRY POTTER brought the streets of London to a standstill on Monday night (20Apr09) as they filmed scenes for the latest movie. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were all on-set in the U.K. capital to shoot an action sequence for the first instalment of two-part film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which is due for release next year (10).   The actors, along with 400 extras, took over London's famous Piccadilly Circus and the surrounding roads to film scenes in a cafe and on the streets.   Watson, who plays clever Hermione Granger in the wizard franchise, was wearing a glamorous red dress and heels, while Radcliffe and Grint, who play Harry Potter and his best friend Ron Weasley, both donned smart suits for the scenes.

Actor and Burberry model ALEX PETTYFER is in negotiations to star as VANESSA HUDGENS' love interest in a BEAUTY & THE BEAST update. The hunky 19 year old is the front-runner to land the role Hudgens' real-life boyfriend Zac Efron was once considered for.   Hudgens will play the romantic lead in director Daniel Barnz's modern take on the fairytale, Beastly, which is based on Alex Finn's novel of the same name.   And Pettyfer, who starred in Wild Child opposite Emma Roberts, is all set to play her beast.

TWILIGHT sequel NEW MOON will be released on schedule as planned - studio executives have assured fans the shoot will not be affected by an ongoing lawsuit against author STEPHENIE MEYER. Stephenie Meyer, who penned the books on which the films are based, is facing legal action from her former college roommate, who alleges the novels are modelled on a short story she wrote as a student.   The film franchise, which stars Robert Pattinson, was alleged to have suffered from the lawsuit, with internet gossips speculating that the shooting of New Moon in Canada had been halted.   But a spokesperson from Summit Entertainment, the company behind the movie, insists New Moon will still be released on 20 November (09).   Speaking to MSNBC.com, the representative says, “Production is underway, in Vancouver, totally as planned. ASHLEY TISDALE is laughing off rumours she's got a new man in her life just days after splitting from singer JARED MURILLO, insisting she's still "single". The 20 year old High School Musical star ended her year-long relationship with V Factory's Jared Murillo in early April (09), but sparked rumours she had already moved on after she was snapped stepping out with music video director Scott Speer.   But Ashley Tisdale has dismissed the claims and is adamant there is nothing romantic about her friendship with Scott Speer, who she worked with for her new single It's All right, It's OK.   She tells E! News, "He's a really hot, good friend of mine. I'm not in a relationship. I'm single.   "We have a really good, creative relationship."

ROBERT PATTINSON was bullied at school - and the experience left him scarred him for life. The Twilight star attended school in London, but was picked on by other kids.   The star coped by rebelling against the rules - and he was eventually expelled for his naughty behaviour.   Pattinson says, "Someone stole my shoelaces once from my shoes. I still wear them and never put laces in them - they're like my trademark shoes now!   "I got expelled from my school when I was 12 - I was quite bad. I never ever did my homework. I always turned up for lessons as I liked my teachers but my report said I didn't try very hard."

BILLY RAY CYRUS is fuming after JAMIE FOXX urged his superstar daughter MILEY to "make a sex tape... do some heroin... and become a lesbian", dubbing the Oscar winner's comments "hurtful". Foxx has apologized for the remarks made on his Foxxhole radio show last weekend (11-12Apr09), insisting he made the joke as a comedian.   He said, "There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart. Miley, I apologize, so I'll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand."   But Cyrus Senior isn't taking the comments about 16 year old Miley lightly and is disgusted by the Ray actor's behavior.   The country star complains, "It was hurtful. There wasn't nothing (sic) funny about it. And, quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter, he might not find it so comedic."

HULK HOGAN's daughter BROOKE has come to her father's defense after he was accused of likening his ongoing divorce battle to O.J. SIMPSON's murder trial. ONE TREE HILL star ANTWON TANNER has pleaded not guilty to charges in connection with a social security card scam. The actor, who plays Skills on the teen show, handed himself over to federal prosecutors on Thursday (16Apr09).   He appeared in a Brooklyn, New York court on the same day to face charges of selling social security numbers and cards.   If convicted, Tanner faces five years in jail.   The actor and his legal team have refused to comment on the case.
