Until the year of 2004, The Lady Wreckers were in a group called Da Youngin’s. Da Youngin’s consisted of Slim Goodie, Yung Kay, and King Kid. But this group wasn’t going to last. Eventually Slim Goodie and Yung Kay left the group. They felt King Kid wasn’t really serious with his career.From here, Yung Kay and Slim Goodie had Misty join in their group as vocals. They resigned their name to COP (Cuties on Patrol). When it didn’t go over well, they had to drop Misty.In the year of 2005 Yung Kay and Slim Goodie had taken on the name of Lady Wreckers. This also was the year of their first performance. Despite their nervousness, the performance at their managers house went phenomenal; far better then they had expected. The songs of choice were Yung Kay’s Rough Type Kid followed by Slim Goodie’s I.C.You.N.V.M.The next place they showcased their talent was at a family barbecue.
