Ian Molla – Guitar Q: How did you get started in the music industry? SRP Records was the first to believe in us.  They’ve been there from the beginning.  In an industry that can be so overwhelming, their guidance has been priceless.  Another extremely important person to us is David Bendeth.  We met David in the fall ‘07 and he helped us take it all to the next level.  After recording several songs at his studio, The House of Loud, we started getting strong attention from record labels.  When shopping, we got a great vibe from Mercury/IDJ and we ended up signing with them overnight.  I guess that’s when we were “officially” in the music industry. Talking with Corbin Bleu
Our teen correspondent, Karleigh was able to participate as part of the press and ask a few questions to Corbin. Here are some highlights from the interview. This was the first time Corbin did a web interview. He really liked the experience and wants to do more. Speed of Light Corbin talks about Speed of Light, it's a different venture than his first album, and he wanted to make it different. He worked with Eric Hudson, and Brian Kennedy for the past year, everything was built from the ground up. Why was it called "Speed of Light" Because of the title track which sets the pace for the rest of the album. The title track has the electronic R&B vibe that he felt nailed the feel of the rest of the album. It a very fast pace, and a very cool concept. Favorite Songs from the Album Moments That Matter, Speed of Light, and Champion mean the most to him.
