Update 2: With the new court ruling that will allow same sex marriage Ellen and Portia could get married at the earliest in about a month but there has been no details about when they plan to get tie the knot.

A few details about Ellen 50th B-day party from Saturday (her birthday was actually in January), have been released and here's most of them

Pink perfomed three songs There was a fireworks display The menu included sushi from Sushi Roku, Pinkberry, Fry Girl doughnuts, red velvet cupcakes, and a dim sum buffet. The theme was a carnival and casino There was 10-ft. elephant topiaries, a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, carousel, dunk tank and stilt-walkers. And the bash was held at Warner Bros. studio which is where Ellen will be filming her show starting next season. I've uploaded a couple of photos from the event.

Highlights from the event will be shown on Ellen's show this Friday.

"LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Portia de Rossi ("Arrested Development") will co-star in a comedy pilot for ABC.

The project, from "My Name Is Earl" writer-producer Victor Fresco, is a single-camera office comedy that centers on a moral guy trying to do right in an amoral world.

De Rossi recently had a recurring role on "Nip/Tuck."

Warner Bros./The Ellen Degeneres Show released a press release that says Ellen will get a new state-of-the-art studio and will broadcast in HD starting on the premiere of season 6 (Sept. 8). The new studio will also be able to hold 50 % more people in the audience.
