Seeing Chris Koon in Lima, OH
Seeing Chris Koon in Lima, OH

Here I am, sitting at home, bored and doing nothing. So I decided to maybe just start a blog and fill anyone who happens to read this in on what is going on in the life of Karleigh Santry...woo hoo, how exciting! <--Hopefully you'll catch my sarcasm there

I arrived home at 1 AM today from a one day trip out to Lima, Ohio to watch one of my friend's (Chris Koon) show in the mall. Why it  took so long to arrive home you ask? Well, that's all very simple, what happens when it rains, and then the temperature suddenly drops? ICE. What would usually take 4 hours driving 65 MPH took like 6 hours...not a fun drive.

Yesterday, however, was fun. Chris had two shows that day and the first of the two started at noon. He exhibited his mad moves on stage for all of us in the audience and it was a good show. After the show we talked to Chris for a bit (no matter how much it hurt my mouth) and we met the cast of a youtube show which Chris is featured in called "With Friends Like You". They were all extremely nice and welcoming since me and Katie didn't know any of them except for Chris. Then Chris and WFLY take a group picture together, so they give three camera's to this old man who took about a year and a half to figure out what to press to make the cameras work. They finally gave the third camera to my sister who took the picture like a pro...she should consider a job in that line of work.

Afterwards we all went to a Mexican restraunt which had a name that no one could pronounce, and guess what my sister orders at this place, the traditional Mexican sidedish of...French fries. Then when we got our drinks we were all showing eachother the many things you can do with straw wrappers...and then we all displayed our insane attemps to speak Spanish. Apparently adding "o" to every word does not count as Spanish.

Then we go our separate ways while we wait for show number two.

Show number two was interesting...

First off...there were slight technical difficulties which resulted in a delay of the performance. That last sentence made me sound very smart...and I'm ruining it by pointing it out. Then once they figured out how to get the music and the microphone to work simultaneously (which took a surprising amount of time) the show started. It was the same as the show before...except for one thing...DON JUAN. He's a booty-shakin', 60-something year old, New Yorker, from Florida...now how much sense does that make? Here is the video for your entertainment...

We all started the show in front of the stage watching Chris, but then halfway through the show the crowd shifted to the side so we could all watch Chris...and DON JUAN. One of the cast members from WFLY could barely keep his composure and was crying from laughing so hard. He wasn't the only one...me and Katie were in hysterics too.

We did get a VLog (pronounced "vee-log" not "vlog"<--as Chris tries to say) with Chris which turned out very good. Then he taught us the "High-Ten" but then I better-fied it by making it a "High-Fifteen"<---and now I realize how retarded at math I must be because it should've really been a "High-thirty". And again...for your entertainment...me and Katie slipped in a bit of video from way back when in the hotel with Julien...errr...Janice, which turned out to be a hit to our youtube watchers...watch and you'll see why.
