*This is pretty much just what happens to my newest and sadly *cough* ONLY *cough* sim family... yeah my simming skills need some work  also i apologize for my poor spelling in advance.*
I'd like you to meet Ashlan Peyton, Mad Scientist, Wanabe Fashionista (not that she seems to have much sense of style) and soon to be the first resident of Kai Mountain.
Her life was going seemingly well, she had several friends, most of whom had somehow saved her from disaster... such as the local exterminator she had called 5 times to get rid of the bugs that kept appearing after a stray dog repeatedly knocked over the trash can (without Ashlan noticing for a good 24 hours of course). Or the local fire fighter who put the stove out when Ashlan left for work every morning in the middle of making waffles.
One day whilst in a chat room (she happened to conveniently miss the carpool that day) She met a nice guy named Zeke, and they arranged a date.
Zeke was a hottie hot mchottie, and Ashlan certainly had her eye on him. Their first date went alright... but Zeke left rather upset that he hadn't been offered anything to eat. So, Ashlan arranged a second date. This time she cooked spaghetti for the two of them, before entertaining Zeke with her numerous dirty okes. The date ended with a blast in the back of Ashlan's new (second hand rusty) car.
Wanting to marry Zeke instanly, Ashlan took him out to a nice restaurant for dinner.... Zeke ordered omelet's (???) After finishing her tart, Ashlan made a surprise proposal to Zeke at the table....
He was over the moon! Shouting and gasping for air like the fool he was. But then, he decided he couldn't possibly get engaged whilst he needed a shower and got up, left the restaurant and Ashlan with the ring still sitting on the table!
Ashlan didn't seem overly concerned... and luckily Zeke had the decency to come back and accept Ashlan's proposal.
With a night like this, Ashlan needed some time to prepare for the wedding...
Ashlan had decided to sell the shop anyway, with business this bad she was going broke, even with her job as a Mad Scientist. She bought a larger block and built a reception and party business, mainly so she could hold her own wedding there for free... but it seemed people werén't willing to pay the $6 entry fee. The only person who attended her wedding was a reporter from the local paper.... and the review was NOT good.
The empty hall didn't bother Zeke and Ashlan though, they only needed each other. The shuttle arrived and the couple were off on their honeymoon in Twiikii Island. They spent 4 days soaking in the hot springs...
... And went home with a little extra baggage...

 Zeke, as good looking as he was, wasn't the kind of sim that could hold a job. He had just been fired from his job. Poor Ashlan was expecting their first child any day and Zeke was moping around the house like it was the end of the world!
To make matters worse, the couple had no money left because they had decided to add a second story to their house when they got back from their honeymoon...
Luckily, looking through the want adds, Zeke manages to find a job... but once again doesn't hold it long enough to get a promotion... He comes home that evening after being fired to find Ashlan in the kitchen holding their first born son.
Met Damien Peyton (yes, Damien, i hope he's not going to turn out to be the son of the devil). For lack of his job holding skills, Zeke turned out to be a pretty good Dad, tending to Damien without being asked... which is more than could be said for Ashlan, who much rathered painting to parenting.
Little Damien was growing up fast! He was now a toddler, and a hottie like his Daddy. It turns out he's a very sweet little boy, nothing like the son of the devil (yet anyway ).
Zeke had finally goten another job, this time he managed to hold it for 3 days before yet again being fired. This time, he thought it would be best to focus on his parenting skills instead and let Ashlan be 'the man'. This worked well, Zeke was a great parent, and was overjoyed at the thought of having another child.
Their second son, Blaze was born in the downstairs bathroom... and it pretty much went down the toilet from there. Zeke only payed attention to Damien, leaving Blaze to fend for himself. Poor neglected Blaze came out of his cot only to have his diaper changed and a bottle... and those outings were deffinately far between. Damien on the other hand was thriving, he had learnt to walk and talk, and was potty trained days ago. His birthday was coming up and he had been given his own bedroom upstairs as a present.
The day arrived, and Damien became a child as Blaze became a toddler.
Blaze didn't quite have his brothers looks... but he was still a cutie.
Time had flown by so quickly, Blaze was a child now, and could look after himself. He spent his time playing with his womrat or eating leftovers.
The boys shared a room upstairs... and the other bedroom downstairs had been turned into an entertainment room. It wasn't working very well, Blaze would get up every night and play, waking Damien. Eventually Blaze just slept in his parents bed instead.
Ashlan had another baby on the way, the couple were trying for a girl... but again had a boy! Harry Peyton was born in the kitchen like his brother Damien, who was more than happy to have another brother.
Damien soon became a teen, and thought he looked pretty good. He was still a nice boy, but he spent a lot more time in front of the mirror now.
Unfortunately, Zeke couldn't handle looking after Blaze and Harry, and soon neglected them both for the pinball machine. Ashan was once again too busy painting to care and pretty soon the social worker came a knocking, taking Blaze and Harry with her.
Ashlan was more concerned about using the bathroom... Zeke was devistated.
Maybe he was driven mad from losing his kids, or maybe he was desperate, but Zeke sure had taken a liking to the maid, Judith. He followed her around the house, and even gave her a $100 tip... In fact he was so desperate to talk to her he left his lunch burning on the stove to follow her upstairs. Of course the house caught fire.
It looks like thing are going to get complicated in the Peyton household...

Zeke and Damien blamed Ashlan for Blaze and Harry being taken away... even though neither of them did anything to help the situation. But even though Zeke was upset with his wife, he wanted another child. He joined Ashlan on the bed, and started talking about violins... to which Ashlan replied by screwing up her face and talking about painting. Zeke played along with the painting conversation and one thing led to another. Soon, they were expecting their fourth child.
By morning, Zeke had forgoten that he hated Ashlan, seems all he needed was a good woohoo...
Everything was going well.... until Judith decided she was going to flirt with Zeke in front of Ashlan! (the look on her face made me laugh so hard! )

She was pretty upset, and immediatly slapped Zeke across the face (i still say it really wasn't his fault, she was flirting with him). Judith ran off to use the bathroom, Damien and Ashlan weren't happy.
Àshlan didn't want to talk to Zeke after that, everytime he came into a room where she was she gave him greezy's and walked out. Damien blamed Ashlan, and walked around the house despizing her. Even though he blamed his mother, he still just walked up to Judith and slapped her!
He was just upset... and it all happened because stupid Judith flirted with Zeke! WHY!!!!!!!!!
Luckily the couple put there differences aside, and Zeke came to witness the birth of his twins!
Both girls! Meet Daphne and Delilah Peyton. Of course they were happy they finally had girls and boys, but both Zeke and Ashlan were upset about the loss of Blaze and Harry...
Judith stayed long into the night... for some reason she put up with Damien repeatedly slapping her. She must have REALLY liked Zeke.
Although Damien had moved to college, he came home just about every night to slap Zeke in the face (poor Zeke really didn't deserve all this). Zeke desperately wanted to fix things with Ashlan, and fired Judith, hiring a new maid.
Judith was so distraught she moved away. She really loved Zeke (although he never did anything to give her the idea that he loved her back). She changed her looks, bought a trailer home and got a job in a gas station. Hopefully the Peyton's would never see her again.
Damien was enjoying his Freshman year of college, he had decided to major in Mathermatics, and wanted to become a Criminal Mastermind after graduation. He lived in an 8 room Dorm, and was quickly making friends. He was still a lil hottie (most of the dorm girls thought that!)
The twins were toddlers, they grew up so fast. Ashlan was still too busy painting to parent, but Zeke was trying a bit harder. He seemed to bond with the girls as he had with Damien.

Delilah
Ashlan and Zeke had their first date after trying to patch things up. It went ok, but it seemed they hadn't quite rekindled that spark. They just needed time, Ashlan hadn't quite forgiven Zeke yet, even though (and i say it again) HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! Things were starting to get back on track anyway, until Ashlan started spying on Judith with the telescope... Judith would run over and attempt to have a go at Ashlan, but as soon as she got close Ashlan would put her fists up and Judith would back off. Perhap's She needed to focus more of her attention on her children rather than spying on the neighbors. The twins were only days away from a birthday.
Damien was in his last year of college, and was doing extremely well. He had moved from the dorm to a small house so he could focus more on his studies without the distractions of college life. He was dating a cheerleader though... so people forever seemed to be in the house.
Blaze and Harry had been adopted by another family, and Ashlan and Zeke were told not to go looking for them. The twins had grown into sweet children.

They looked very different, and they had different personalities too. Daphne was level headed like her mother and Delilah was very outgoing. The boys room upstairs had been changed into a room for the twins and the nursery downstairs was once again an entertainment room... much to Zeke's delight (he had missed his pinball machine terribly )
Zeke and Ashlan were getting on in years, and had finally made up after the incident with Judith... who they hadn't seen for a long while now.
Judith had moved on from Zeke, she had a baby of her own and a job as a playground monitor at the local school (luckily the Peyton twins attended private school or that could have been interesting ).
Everyone was happy, for now.
* The bedspreads in the girls room were made by me, with tokidoki designs they're at TSR if anyone is interested. *Time had flown, Damien had finished college, and the twins had become teens. Daphne gave herself a more edgy street look, while Delilah went for the mysterious white haired lass look. They were different, but they were friends. Neither of them had any luck in love, they went through the whole of high school without having one single date (but then so did Damien).
Àshlan and Zeke had reached elderhood! Ashlan retired from her job and got a large pension... Zeke didn't have a job to retire from (he had been fired a grand total of 4 times during his 'career').
The couple had long been over their tif about Judith, and were about to celebrate their golden aniversary.
Damien had moved back home, and was engaged to marry his college sweetheart, Emmerson. His parents had decided to leave everything to him, making him the heir. The twins were just too young in their parents eyes, even if they were about to enter college. Damien was busy planning his wedding, and rearanging the furniture once more. The twin's room had to be turned into a bedroom for Damien and Emmerson, and the twins were booted off to college.
The twins weren't too upset about being booted out before their time, they were enjoying college life, and had rented as small house with a boy from class, Sora.... Sora Walker (Judith's son).
There had been an..... accident, over at the Walked household. Judith had been making pancakes (at 3 am of coarse), and had decided to take a bathroom break in the middle of things, coming back to the kitchen to find her trailer on fire. She got a little too close, and sustained some burns that resulted in a slight case of death. Sora, away at college, didn't seem overly upset at the death of his mother (although i was quite upset at it) and continued stargazing as he did every night for some reason (he was a romance sim, prehaps he was searching the stars for love ).
Daphne was constantly thinking about either adopting a child, or having a baby. It was pretty much all she ever talked about, and Delilah was getting sick of it (so was i... it was creepy how much she thought about it, she's a pleasure sim too). The twins had a lot of pillow fights, which distracter Daphne from her kid talk. Neitherf them got along with Sora overly well, they never seemed to be in the house at the same time anyway.
Meanwhile back home, Ashlan and Zeke were eagerly awaiting Damien and Emmerson's wedding. They were going to get married at the family business downtown, and Ashlan had given Emmerson her dress. Of coarse they were also waiting for the twins to get married (i don't think they thought about having one wedding at a time, neither twin was even engaged).
Unfortunately, Zeke suffered a break down over Judith's death (geez i didn't realize how much she impacted on other people's lives). The poor thing just sat on the front porch acting all crazy.
Damien and Emmerson thought perhaps they would just have a quiy wedding, seeing as Zeke wasn't feeling well, and got married in their bedroom upstairs (it was still a very cute wedding). Zeke immediatly cheered up, and his thoughts turned to when his first grandchild would arrive. Ashlan too wanted grandchildren.
Damien had taken a job as a cartoon voice actor, and kids weren't the first thing on his mind.

 Chapter the Tenth |

A lot has happened in the Peyton household. Damien quit his job as a cartoon voice actor to persue his criminal dreams, and Emmerson had taken a job as a yearbook supervisor. Being so busy... it was quite a surprise when Emmerson discovered she was pregnant, and even more of a surprise when she gave birth to twins! (twins must be in the family) A boy and a girl, Ace (left) and Grace.
Now, Zeke had gotten a little.... forgetful, in his old age, and started having a few accidents.
He constantly stank, and the other family members had noticed. Of course, having 6 people living in a house wasn't helping, there where only 2 bathrooms, and this soon became an issue. Zeke found himself bathing in the kitchen sink quite a lot. He still cried occationally over the death of Judith (i didn't think he cared so much).... Actually he was probably crying more over the breakdown he had because of her death than her physical death. Most of his thoughts had turned to his grandchildren though, and he wanted to have even more. Both Damien and Emmerson had decided two was enough.
Ashlan wanted more grandchildren as soon as the twins were born... and she seemed to spend a lot of time just holding them (especially when one of them needed something). She didn't actually do a whole lot to help Damien and Emmerson out with raising them (as both of them had jobs), Zeke was trying but like i said, was a bit funny, and soon hired a nanny (who also seemed to be suffering from old age and was a bit useless). Emmerson ended up having to quit her job to look after the kids.
It was amazing how quick the kids grew into toddlers
Ace
Grace
Daphne and Delilah had finished college. They had move into Judith's old trailer with Sora (they had nowhere else to go, home was too crowded already). It was small, dirty, and very poorly furnished. They had to share a room, which didn't go down well. Daphne was still constantly on about babies (she's wanted one since she was a teen can you believe??? She has issues...)
Delilah had taken a job as a Clam Wrangler, and Daphne was working as a Projectionist. Sora didn't have a job yet, he was trying to focus on getting a girlfriend (or several).
Judith's grave sat at the Kai Mountain Public Cemetery, where Sora occationally came to mourn. He desperately wanted to see his mother again, perhaps he should take a career in the Paramormal?
Grace and Ace had grown into children.
Ace was a total clean freak, and couldn't leave the bathroom alone. Everytime someone used it he was in there cleaning. Grace was really outgoing, and was constantly showing off.
Before anything disasterous happened, a family photo was taken.
Now, Zeke's..... issues, had only gotten worse, he would leave his lunch on the bench (to be taken by someone else moments later) and have accidents right there on the kitchen floor.
Anyway, the family members tried to ignore his stench (although they all looked horrified when he walked into a room with them). Zeke was after all, a good grandfather, and the only person in the house who would ever fix broken appliances. He was pretty smart, and had never had a problem fixing anything.... until the tv broke down.
Poor Zeke was electrocuted, and before anyone could do anything about it the grim reaper had taken him away.... The whole family was very upset at his death (except for Emmerson who casually walked past his urn whilst the rest of the family was in tears, and wondered why the tv wasn't working).
Zeke got his revenge by haunting beds at night, he was particularly excited to see his own bed...
Of course poor little Ace got the fright of his life when he went to get into his bed later that night.
He didn't sleep in his bed after that, and would only sleep with one of his parents (even if i told him to get into his bed he wouldn't). Poor kid had been traumatized.
Zeke would still come back to haunt the tv, breaking it every time which quickly got VERY annoying to the other family members (and me who had to constantly direct people to fix it as Zeke was the only one who ever cared to fix anything without being asked).
Damien seemed to dispize Grace. Whenever he walked into a room with her he would just shake his head.
Emmerson and Damien eventually had another child, Saige. And the twins grew into teens.
Grace became a romance sim.... and soon found herself in trouble. She moved out and gave birth to twin girls, Imogen and Isobel (twins are DEFINATELY in the family).
Ashlan was nearing the end of her days, she was a great grandmother now... she must be well into her hundreds

Ashlan's last days were spent lounging in the arm chair downstairs, and relaxing on her bed. At 6pm on the dot, Grim came to take her away.
Her last meal was a hamburger (mmmmm hamburger  ). She left behind 5 children (2 she never knew), 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Her grave was placed at Kai Mountain Public Cemetery, alongside her lifelong love Zeke (and also quite close to Judith).
The Life of a Sim had ended, and who would have thought pixels could experience such things? Love, loss, laughter, birth, death, and all the emotions between.
